Dr. Tonći Gruica, MD, Specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics

Dr. Tonći Gruica, MD, is a dedicated Specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics (OB/GYN) and a valuable new member of the Affidea medical team.
His passion for Gynecology began during his second year of medical school after witnessing a childbirth.
Dr. Gruica graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Mostar. He began his medical career in 2013 as a General Practitioner/Intern at the Emergency Center of the University Clinical Hospital Mostar. He subsequently served as a physician at the Emergency Medical Service Institute of Zadar County.
In 2015, he commenced his residency (specialization) in Gynecology and Obstetrics at the General Hospital Šibenik, which he successfully completed at the Clinic for Women's Diseases and Childbirth in Split.
Demonstrating a commitment to advanced training, Dr. Gruica began his subspecialization in Fetal Medicine in 2022. He is currently undertaking this training at the Sveti Duh Clinical Hospital in Zagreb. As of this year, Dr. Gruica is officially part of the Affidea family.
